It's February 2nd and guess what this means....
MARI'S BIRTHDAY!!!
Yesterday I baked her a cake. It is yellow with milk chocolate frosting.
Early in the morning I was attempting to drive to her place, but due to the snow that wouldn't stop, I was forced to depart at 10:30 am. I made it to her place at almost 12 and she had class, so I hung with Paulie till she got off school.
It was so good to see her!!! First time I see Mari and Paulie this year.
We went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner; the meal was delicious! Josh joined us a little later.
The servers brought her a cool ice cream with a candle and the all sang "Happy Birthday" Pretty nice.
After that great meal we went to Borders where Paulie bought Mari a Nook for her birthday! Well, they didn't have it in stock, so he ordered it and it will arrive on the 12th.
Then we came to their place and had some cake!
She had a good birthday, I hope...
